Terms of Service

Article 1: Application of These Terms

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set forth the conditions for using the mobile application "Comparo" (hereinafter referred to as "this App") provided by MARUSOFT (hereinafter referred to as "the Operator"). All users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") who use this App are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2: Definitions

In these Terms, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:

  • "This App" means the unit price comparison application "Comparo" provided by the Operator.
  • "Users" means all individuals who use this App.
  • "Comparison Data" means information such as product prices, quantities, tax rates, and discount rates entered by Users into this App.
  • "Settings" means in-app configurations such as currency, theme, and default tax rate.

Article 3: Terms of Use

  1. This App is provided for personal use only.
  2. Users shall use this App at their own responsibility upon agreeing to these Terms.
  3. Users shall be responsible for preparing and maintaining the devices, communication environment, and other equipment necessary to use this App at their own expense.
  4. This App is provided free of charge for basic features. Some features (such as ad removal) are available through paid in-app purchases. An internet connection may be required for features such as font downloads.
  5. Comparison Data is retained only during the app session and will be lost when the app is closed. No persistent storage of Comparison Data is performed.

Article 4: In-App Purchases

  1. This App offers the ad removal feature "Unipra Pro" as a one-time (non-consumable) in-app purchase.
  2. Payment processing is handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Pricing follows the prices displayed in each store.
  3. Refunds after purchase completion are subject to the policies of each store. The Operator cannot directly process refunds.
  4. When switching devices or reinstalling the app, previous purchases can be restored using the "Restore Purchases" feature in the settings screen.
  5. Purchase processing may not complete successfully due to network issues or store system failures. In such cases, the Operator shall not be liable.

Article 5: Prohibited Activities

Users shall not engage in any of the following activities when using this App:

  • Activities that violate laws or public order and morals
  • Activities that interfere with the operation of this App
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling this App
  • Unauthorized use or unauthorized access to this App
  • Activities that infringe on the rights of the Operator or third parties
  • Any other activities deemed inappropriate by the Operator

Article 6: Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights related to content included in this App (text, images, designs, software, etc.) belong to the Operator or the legitimate rights holders. Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly transmit, or otherwise use such content without the prior written consent of the Operator.

Article 7: Disclaimer

  1. The Operator makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, or other aspects of the content of this App.
  2. The Operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this App, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Operator.
  3. The Operator shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of data managed by this App. Please back up important data yourself.
  4. Unit prices and comparison results calculated by this App are for reference purposes only, and their accuracy is not guaranteed. Users shall make their own purchasing decisions at their own responsibility.

Article 8: Service Changes and Termination

The Operator may change the content of this App or terminate the provision of this App without prior notice to Users. The Operator shall not be liable for any damages caused to Users as a result.

Article 9: Changes to These Terms

The Operator may change these Terms without prior notice to Users when deemed necessary. The revised Terms shall become effective when posted on this App.

Article 10: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The interpretation and application of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
